This client wanted to determine if there was an appetite for a visualization app in the global sports market. In four months, Trility built a minimum viable mobile app for general availability in time to sell app subscriptions for the club and high school volleyball season.
Due to the COVID-19 quarantine in the Spring of 2020, a university women’s volleyball coaching staff had trouble performing the coach-led visualization exercises they would normally perform in person for small groups of their athletes. They conceived the idea of a mobile application that would allow their athletes (and others in the market) to access self-service mental training and sport-specific visualization exercises.
This led a group of people to form a company and build a minimum viable product (MVP) for general availability in time to sell subscriptions to the app for the high school volleyball season by the Fall of 2020. The client also wanted to discover if there was an appetite for a visualization app in the global sports market.
Trility was hired to deliver a cloud-native, cross-platform mobile application to market in fourth months and help create a brand for the application, NeuroFuel. The team delivered, tested, and released software in the Google Play and Apple app stores for both clubs, coaches, and players. License options were built for both teams or individual users and were accessible through redeemable codes. Trility also provided marketing services by creating the logo and iconography for marketing the mobile app.
Key delivery aspects included:
Determining the appropriate level of COPPA compliance as users were under the age of 18.
Finding and implementing a content management tool to track new and updated content on the app.
Addressing sound quality.
The application, NeuroFuel, launched and sold subscriptions in time for club and high school volleyball season in 2020. Key MVP features included:
Users could also sign up through an in-app purchase, create an account, and agree to the terms of service.
Distribution of content was only for users located in the United States.
Clubs and teams were able to track how many user accounts were given and used with the license or subscription codes
Documentation was provided to support club subscriptions and troubleshooting customer support tickets.
Performance Mindset was able to determine the application was viable and is continuing to pursue additional features as it seeks more investors and early adopters.
