As part of a year-long contract, Trility served as a trusted partner to provide project management services while also leading several enterprise-wise technology initiatives that positioned the client for both commercial and classified contracts, increased security posture, and developed and deployed pipelines to ensure compliance and consistency.
This repeat client signed an annual contract with Trility to help mitigate resource and skill set gaps by providing project management, product and service ownership, and DevSecOps services.
Due to urgent requirements and constrained resources, Trility team members provided short-term ownership and knowledge transfer for several areas of business including:
Security and compliance accreditation
Business intelligence
Dev team
Data intelligence
Information assurance and security automation
Enterprise support
Trility was originally hired to support specific initiatives and teams, however, our team identified opportunities to enhance security. Due to early observations of security gaps, our scope expanded to providing consistency across the enterprise to create a consistent approach to address the gaps.
For ICD-503 security accreditation and business intelligence, Trility provided project management to meet deadlines, including establishing roadmaps and status reports. Our team also helped implement a classified environment by migrating services with deployment pipelines and elastic architecture.
Our team conducted interviews with the data intelligence team to help secure ground system deployments with data lake deployments and for the classified side of the business. The team also designed and deployed high-side monitoring for data intelligence services.
Trility also established an enterprise standard for logging and reporting to meet client requirements while encouraging consistency and simplifying the extraction and delivery of required data.
Lastly, the team identified capabilities needed for new hires to ensure seamless handoff for data lake ownership.
By continuing to partner with Trility, this client established and maintained a “stay-well” approach by constantly ensuring work was aligned with business initiatives and goals, in addition to:
Delivering commercial and classified customer orders in a secure environment with both ground systems and mobile equipment and software.
Increasing classified contracts by obtaining ICD 503 accreditation and implementing a DevOps infrastructure that supports security SOPs across the enterprise.
Reducing bottlenecks, increasing security posture, driving consistent behaviors and repeatable patterns, and supporting single points of success across the enterprise.
Trility’s Delivery Consultant was also responsible for keeping other Maxar projects running smoothly by maintaining backlog, roadmap, and progress reports; reporting monthly financials to leadership; facilitating cross-team collaboration and risk analysis; coordinating scope and refinement sessions across DevSecOps teams; and helping with quarterly planning.
